Search
OneHaus Premium — Search is part of OneHaus Premium. See Plans & Subscription for what's included.
Start typing in the chat bar to search across everything in your household at once — tasks, calendar events, shopping items, recipes, contacts, pets, vehicles, appliances, documents, and subscriptions. Enter at least two characters and OneHaus returns matching results grouped by category, drawn instantly from your local data. It is the fastest way to jump straight to a specific item without opening each section.
Suggestion Chips
The home screen shows contextual suggestion chips below the Today Panel. These are quick shortcuts that adapt based on what you have going on:
- Review overdue: Appears when you have overdue tasks.
- Today's schedule: Appears when you have tasks or events today.
- This week: Appears when you have items this week.
- Next week: Appears when there are items next week.
- Full schedule: Always available for a complete overview.

Tap any chip to instantly see the relevant information.
Schedule View
When you tap a schedule-related quick view or suggestion chip, OneHaus opens a full-screen schedule view. This shows your tasks and events grouped by day, with month headers for easy scanning. You can also add new tasks or events directly from this view using the quick action buttons at the bottom.
Context Awareness
OneHaus knows your household context. It understands who your household members are, what tasks are assigned, what events are coming up, and what is in your inventory. This means you can ask follow-up questions naturally without repeating details.
For example, you can say "Add a vet appointment for Bella on Friday" and then follow up with "Make it recurring every 6 months" without restating the details.
Voice Input
Tap the microphone icon to speak instead of type. OneHaus uses speech-to-text to understand your commands. This is great for hands-free use while cooking, driving, or doing chores.
You can enable the auto-submit voice recording option in Settings & Preferences. When this is turned on, OneHaus automatically sends your message as soon as you stop speaking, so you do not need to tap a send button.
Tips
- Be natural. You do not need special commands or keywords.
- OneHaus remembers context within a conversation, so you can ask follow-ups.
- If OneHaus is not sure what you mean, it will ask for clarification.
- The more you use it, the better it understands your household's patterns.
- You can request "help" any time in the app
Troubleshooting
- AI not understanding: Try rephrasing your request. Be specific about what you want. For example, instead of "fix it," say "mark the laundry task as complete."
- Voice not working: Check that you have granted OneHaus microphone permissions in your device settings.
- Issues completing your request: Let us know in the feedback section of the app and we'll get on fixing it.
